About the Election

Meet Manuel Perez

"I am a father of children who have graduated from the San Juan District, and my daughter is currently attending a school in the district. While there are many great things about the schools in San Juan, I have been very concerned with School Board policies that have taken parents out of decision making process on matters directly impacting our children. As an appointed member of the Citrus Heights Construction Board of Appeals, I can bring my experience to assist with school facility issues. I also am running to ensure every school is a safe place for students and faculty, and I want every child to have the resources available to rise to their full potential."

Community Leader

I am seeing changes in our community, impacting our quality of life. I'm not the kind of person who can look away - I want to solve problems. You can be certain that I will listen to your concerns and will be accessible to the parents and taxpayers of this district.

It's About Their Future

There is no room to insert political agendas into the classroom, or the school library. We send our kids to school to learn the skills that will give them opportunity and a bright future. Join Manuel in fighting for their right to a first class education, free of indoctrination.
